Drone & UAV Aerial Surveys
FAA-compliant aerial mapping for large parcels — dense topographic data, orthomosaic imagery and construction progress documentation, captured in hours rather than days.
Overview
What a Drone & UAV Aerial Survey actually involves
On large open sites, UAV photogrammetry collects far more surface detail than a crew can walk, and it does it in a fraction of the time. Ground control is set and measured conventionally, the flight is planned to the accuracy the project needs, and the result is a dense surface model plus high-resolution orthomosaic imagery tied to your project datum.
It is a tool, not a replacement. Boundary corners, monument recovery and work under tree canopy still require conventional methods, and we say so rather than selling a flight that will not deliver. All flights are conducted in compliance with FAA regulations.
When you need one
Typical triggers
Large or open parcels
Coverage that would take a ground crew days is captured in a single flight.
Earthwork volumes
Surface-to-surface comparison gives defensible stockpile and cut/fill quantities.
Progress documentation
Repeat flights create a dated visual and measurable record of the build.
Marketing and approvals
Orthomosaic imagery communicates a site to boards and buyers far better than a plan.
